Shipping Restrictions
SMKlog supports online parcel label purchase only for shipments that are lawful, eligible for the selected carrier service, accurately declared, correctly packed, and acceptable for the destination. This page gives practical examples of restricted or prohibited contents, but it is not a complete list. Carrier, airline, export, customs, federal, state, and destination-country rules can change or impose stricter limits at any time.
You are responsible for confirming that your shipment may be sent, imported, cleared, delivered, returned if needed, and handled without special permits or documents. SMKlog may refuse, cancel, hold, refund, or block any shipment when the contents are unclear, generic, masked, inconsistent with the product page, prohibited, restricted, hazardous, regulated, or otherwise unsuitable for online checkout.
Prohibited items
Do not use SMKlog online checkout for items that are illegal, dangerous, counterfeit, license-required, or not acceptable for ordinary parcel transportation. Examples include:

- Live animals, human remains, live bait, frozen food, dry ice, perishable goods, biological cultures, medical samples, specimens, infectious materials, or temperature-controlled contents
- Explosives, fireworks, lighters, fire extinguishers, pepper spray, mace, tear gas, poisons, toxic substances, oxidizers, radioactive materials, air bags, pretensioners, or other dangerous goods
- Items requiring an export license, ITAR control, EAR control, military authorization, sanctions review, customs permit, import permit, or shipment to a prohibited person, party, country, or destination
Restricted items
Restricted items may require special packaging, markings, ground-only service, permits, documentation, adult signature, carrier approval, or a different logistics provider. SMKlog online checkout may block or refuse these items even when a carrier might handle them under a separate program. Examples include:
- Lithium ion batteries, lithium metal batteries, power banks, loose batteries, replacement batteries, lead-acid batteries, used electronics, damaged electronics, recalled devices, or defective devices
- Prescription medicine, over-the-counter medicine, supplements, vitamins, medical products, health products, or products that are not properly labeled for the destination
- Fertilizer, paint, varnish, stains, paint thinner, acetone, nail polish, nail polish remover, perfume, cologne, fragrance, aerosols, sprays, glue, adhesives, household chemicals, cleaners, antifreeze, sanitizer, magnets, or similar regulated materials
- Tobacco, vaping products, nicotine, alcohol, CBD, hemp, coffee, food items, agricultural items, plants, seeds, soil, animal material, animal skins, fur, feathers, insects, shells, coral, marine life, or similar regulated natural products
- Adult material, sex toys, age-restricted goods, or goods that may require adult signature, special handling, destination legality review, or additional carrier restrictions
Generic or misleading descriptions
Use the real item name. Do not replace a product with a generic description such as accessories, parts, tools, gift, merchandise, sample, household item, or cooking pot if the real item is a phone, battery, liquid, aerosol, supplement, weapon accessory, restricted electronic, or other regulated product. If the declared contents do not match the product page or risk signals, SMKlog may block checkout or stop label creation.
Customer responsibility
By using SMKlog, you certify that the package contents are complete and accurate, that no prohibited, restricted, hazardous, dangerous, or regulated item is hidden or undeclared, and that the shipment is acceptable for the selected service. You are responsible for carrier penalties, return charges, destroyed packages, abandoned packages, customs holds, seizures, storage fees, duties, taxes, brokerage, fines, legal consequences, and any loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete declarations.
International shipments
SMKlog does not currently sell international parcel labels or completed customs documents through public self-service checkout. International buyers, sellers, shippers, recipients, and importers are responsible for destination-country law, import eligibility, customs clearance, duties, taxes, brokerage, export controls, sanctions rules, required documents, penalties, returns, and refused-entry charges.
Carrier rules control
Carrier acceptance, service eligibility, adjustments, returns, rejected mail, penalties, customs holds, and claims are controlled by the selected carrier, shipping platform, airline, government agency, and destination rules. A rate estimate or label purchase does not guarantee that the carrier will accept, transport, clear, insure, refund, or deliver the package if the contents are restricted, prohibited, misdeclared, incorrectly packed, incorrectly marked, or otherwise ineligible.
